About Professor Holloway:
Sherrie Holloway has been teaching at BBC and a part of the Health and Physical Education faculty for over 20 years. During that time, she spent 20 years as the Women’s Basketball Head Coach. Her passion for God and His Word is evident in her teaching and speaking ministry, Wellspring, as well as in her interactions with the students in and out of the classroom. Miss Holloway enjoys teaching and desires to live each day “like crazy!”

1. What is your favorite book?
There are many — “Resilient Life,” “Pilgrim’s Progress,” “Fresh Brewed Life,” “Journey of Desire,” and lots more.

2. What are your hobbies?
Reading, good coffee, and good conversation with a friend.

3. Who has been your greatest spiritual influence?
There have been several people including some of my profs in college who taught me how to think when I read the Word. Also, one of my best friends who has taught me to live genuinely each day and with other people.

4. What goals do you have for your students?         
To see God better as a result of being in class, to gain a passion for Him as well as their subject, and to gain an understanding and a passion for the work He has called them to…and then to get busy doing it.
