About Mr. McGrew:
David grew up in Clarks Summit, PA, where his father taught New Testament Greek at Baptist Bible College . He left for Cedarville University in 1996 to pursue studies in organic chemistry, but no sooner had he arrived than a love affair with music began. Graduating in 2000 with a degree in Music Theory & Composition, David taught a large piano studio in Springfield , OH, before joining the faculty at Baptist Bible College & Seminary in 2001. He has composed music for many ensembles, including concert choir, wind ensemble, symphony orchestra, string quartet, piano solo, as well as film sound tracks, gospel quartet, and contemporary band. David and his wife, Victoria, enjoy traveling abroad, kayaking together, and reading to each other over tea.
