About Krista:
Originally from Toledo, OH, Krista graduated from Cedarville University with a degree in Elementary Education. She then taught in the Dominican Republic for six years, which is where she met her husband, David. They have two adorable, energetic boys who love living in the dorm. Krista enjoys spending time outside (especially with her family), swimming, playing sports, hiking, and just enjoying God's creation. She likes reading books that challenge her in her Christian walk. One that has been life changing recently is “Principles of Spiritual Growth” by Miles Stanford. She also enjoys having people in her home for a meal, dessert, or just to chat. She counts it an incredible privilege to be an RD at BBC. She learns so much each year from the women in our dorm. Being able to build relationships with the women and seeing them grow in Christ are the highlights for her.

History of Vibbard
Miss Hazel Vibbard was one of Baptist Bible Seminary’s original full-time faculty members. Miss Vibbard served the college as a teacher, registrar, and operator of the bookstore. Those who knew her described her as a woman who exhibited both humility and modesty. She retired in 1957 after 25 years of faithful ministry at BBS. Vibbard Hall is named in her honor.
Fast Facts
- This year’s theme for the women of Vibbard Hall is “Being Transformed into Christlikeness.” Because Romans 8:29 says that this is God's goal for our lives, the women of Vibbard will seek to understand how they can be more like Christ by denying self and living through the power of the Holy Spirit.
- Dorm traditions to our dorm include: Faye's famous nachos for Homecoming and during White Glove; hosting Late Skate for the student body; and putting on the Vibbard Tea as an appreciation to staff and faculty women.
- The women of Vibbard enjoy spending time together talking, playing games in the lounge, or having spontaneous praise and worship times involving two or more guitars.
