The Writing Center
The College Writing Center, located in 426 Jackson Hall, exists to help students of all class levels sharpen their writing skills. Consultants are prepared to assist students at any point of the writing phase, from generating ideas to revising final drafts. Visit the Writing Center webpage for hours and further information.

Orientation to Academic Life I and II
These one credit classes are designed to prepare you for the academic rigors of college education. You?ll expand your learning capacity as you explore the resources and procedures necessary for academic success.

Other services
Students may request accommodations on the basis of disabilities. Services may include any of the following:

  • Extended test-taking time
  • Use of test readers
  • Testing in a room where the student will have minimal distractions
  • Testing with enlarged fonts
  • Preferred seating in the classroom
  • Permission to record classes
