Pennsylvania
The Access Pennsylvania Database project
of the Pennsylvania
Department of Education and the Office
of Commonwealth Libraries, was started in 1985 as a way
to provide a union catalog across the State of Pennsylvania. It was the first and remains the largest statewide
union catalog that includes the holdings of all types of libraries.
As of July 1, 2005, 2,875 public school, academic and special
libraries participate. Murphy Memorial Library is pursuing
membership to enhance Inter-library loan availability.

A collection of full text databases which includes ATLAS
(religious and theological journals), Academic Search Elite,
and others including a comprehensive Literary
Reference Database (LRC) that provides a broad spectrum
of reference information from antiquity to the present day.
LRC is a completely full-text database that combines information
from over 1,000 books and monographs, major literary encyclopedias
and reference works, hundreds of literary journals, and unique
sources not available anywhere else.
Christian Periodical Index is also included here. Beginning in 1956 with coverage of 20 titles, CPI currently indexes over 100 selected publications from the broad spectrum of knowledge including science, literature, medicine, music, philosophy, history, sociology, nursing, and education. Coverage is representative of the major doctrinal positions within evangelical Christianity.

Offers both multidisciplinary and discipline-specific collections.
Our subscription includes the entire JSTOR archive.
This database archives thousands of journals. It is recognized
in Academia as a valuable research tool. For the most part,
JSTOR does not include recently published journal issues,
and in some cases has a gap of 1 to 5 years between current
and back issues.
NetLibrary
NetLibrary provides access to over 380 full-text digital version of books (eBooks).
NEWSBANK
This database (on campus access only) includes full-text content of local and regional newspapers from anywhere in the world.

A searchable database
which allows users online access to search and view full-text
dissertations and theses in Dissertation Abstracts Subset
A (Humanities and Social Sciences) including all dissertations
with a degree date of 2004 or 2005. Titles published since
1997 are available in PDF digital format. Adobe Reader
is required to view these earlier papers. A password
is required for off-site authorized users.
ProQuest Religion
The religion database includes over 135 titles, with more than 115 available in full text. The database provides details on doctrines and philosophies, reports on religious history, and related archeology. ProQuest Religion also covers formal theological studies and commentary on topics of general interest from the perspectives of specific religions. Primary beliefs represented in the database are Christianity, Islam, Judaism, and Buddhism.

Thesaurus Linguae Graecae (TLG®)
The Thesaurus Linguae Graecae (TLG®) is a research center at the University of California, Irvine. Founded in 1972 the TLG has already collected and digitized most literary texts written in Greek from Homer to the fall of Byzantium in AD 1453. Its goal is to create a comprehensive digital library of Greek literature from antiquity to the present era. The web version currently provides access to 3,700 authors and 12,000 works, approximately 95 million words. It is updated quarterly. A Greek font, provided on the web site, must be downloaded in order to use this database.
