How seminars work (Browse online seminars)
Each seminar runs for two weeks. The focus is on collaborative learning and online discussions. The interaction with facilitators and fellow students can take place at anytime of the day or night. Learning includes:
Reading. Articles and other reference materials will be posted each week. You may also have reading to do ahead of the seminar. Expect about 20-25 pages each week.
Discussion. You participate in an online forum. The facilitator joins you and provides feedback.
Writing. You submit a one-page summary of learning paper at the end of the first week. At the end of the second week, a three-page reflection paper will be turned in.
Application. Your facilitator will use the papers and discussions to help you think through the material and integrate it into your thinking and understanding.
